One of our English Congregation's core values is Evangelism/Missions, and it’s our desire to be involved with what God is doing in the world. Besides supporting many full-time missionaries and missions organizations, LWEC sponsors short term missions trips to involve and expose our members to God’s work among the nations and to participate in building His Kingdom worldwide.

In the summer, the LWEC English Ministries send out missions teams to share the good news of the Gospel with people around the world. For the past few years, our English adults sent a team to Ecuador and Peru with e3 Partners, where we participated in door-to-door evangelism and helped run free medical clinics. Our youth group sent teams to Taiwan with Advent Taiwan and taught students from elementary school thru high school a conversation-based English curriculum with Gospel themes. Participants in the summer missions program are expected to fundraise a portion of the cost to cover registration fees and airfare.
