What is it? Hesed House is a center for ministries to participate in serving the poor and needy. For more information check out www.hesedhouse.org
Who can be involved? Anyone! If you are interested, please put your information in the “Hesed House Volunteer List” at the Welcome Table on Sundays.
How can I help? There are two ways to participate in Hesed House: You can donate either your time or your money.
What if I don’t have time or money but would still like to participate? No problem! Your prayers are extremely important to Hesed House. Please pray for the people that will be serving, and those who are bringing the goods necessary to feed the people. Most importantly, please pray for the people that are being served, that they may know the Lord our God through our conversations as well as our time spent with them.
PRAISE: HIKE FOR HESED
On September 13, 2008 Nine LWEC reps participated in the Hike for Hesed, even in the midst of rainshowers. In total, we were able to collect close to $3,000 in donation to Hesed House's PADS ministry. All thanks be to God. These funds will be instrumental in renovating a recent purchase of an old warehouse for those in transition.
