LABOR DAY SPORTS TOURNAMENT
The CCUC Sports Tournament is on Saturday September 4th at the UIC Gym between 7am-4pm.  Come out and support our IFG Basketball Team!  Guest speaker will be Jalon Chan of South Loop Community Church. 

PANEL DISCUSSION WITH LOCAL NAPERVILLE OFFICIALS
Join us on Saturday September 18th from 7-9pm for a panel discussion with Community Leaders on "Education Issues".  Speakers include 203 Superintendent – Dr. Mark Mitravich, 204 President – Mr. Curt Bradshaw, Mayor of Naperville – Mr. George Pradel, IL State Rep – Mrs. Darlene Senger.  Please fax questions for our speakers by 9/10/2010 to 630-428-9008.  Business casual attire.

MARRIAGE MATTERS
The next gathering is Sunday September 19th from 1:30-3:30pm in room 222.  Steve & Frances Chou will be leading the series "Loving Couple & Blessed Family - A lesson of 6 smooth stones."  Join us in September for a discussion on Money Matters!

Service Opportunity:

WHEATON COLLEGE MINISTRY DAY - Come visit the LWEC booth on Wednesday September 8th on the campus of Wheaton College.  Join P. Alex & Michelle in this opportunity to reach out & connect with the students in Wheaton.

HESED HOUSE - A center for ministries providing services to poor & homeless persons.  Be a part of feeding the hungry and meeting needs of the marginalized right here in Aurora IL.  Next service opportunity is in December 2010.  Please see Jessica Lin for service details.
