Who We Are
Living Water Evangelical Church (LWEC) is a ministry dedicated to the worship of God and committed to growing together by living out the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to all people. We are a praying community of believers built on God's truth and transformed daily by God's word, striving to know and be known as a grace-filled body of Christ. We are a family where each member offers gifts, abilities, and experiences to further God's kingdom by encouraging one another to be all God intends. Lastly, we are a broken people in need of grace who are committed to being these things as a church.
History
Living Water finds its roots in its original name, Chinese Christian Mandarin Church. Back in 1972, a group of devoted Christian families led by Rev. Timothy Lin gathered regularly at a trailer home until a church building was erected in 1984. In 2000, the church had grown to the point where thirty families led by the new Senior Pastor, Rev. Norman Chung started a second location for Sunday worship services. It was here that weekly attendance rose to an average of 750 people and in 2008, the church chose a new name: Living Water Evangelical Church. This new name reflects its richly blessed past, and projects into a mission-focused future.
Service Times
Join us each Sunday at 10:30am for a Contemporary Worship Service.
